Sketch challenge 226

So I started on this LO last week for Pamela Young's current sketch challenge. I don't know why, but for some reason I had the hardest time with the circles on the sketch. I didn't want to just use cut out circles, so I tried other things-  to no avail :(
However, a few days ago as I was looking at Betsy Veldman's blog (she's a very talented DT member for Papertrey Ink), she had posted a card using PTI's new die cut coverplate called "Circle Dies". Very, very cute and it gave me an idea for the circles on this sketch.
The title of my LO is, "Its Your Smile". My youngest son, Braden, has this incredible smile. and these pictures show it off so well! The journaling is actually behind the picture (it can be pulled out), it reads-
"There hasn't been a day to go by since you've been old enough to smile that I haven't seen your amazing smile. It's such a truly genuine smile. I love how your smile can show so much about your personality- so much of who you are. You are definitely one special boy, Braden. Keep on Smilin'"

To create the "circle diecut", I used a mason jar lid and traced the outside of the lid to create the large circles, then traced the inside of the lid to create the smaller circles. I cut out the smaller circles with my craft knife and the larger ones with scissors. It was actually quite easy considering I was expecting it to be a little difficult.

Supplies I used: Echo Park This and That Charming paper & stickers, Thickers, stamp from Simon Says Stamp card kit and twine.

Thanks for looking!

Brittany :)
